- ***** HOW TO ADD A SCENARIO TO GENERAL.MIX FILES *****
-
- Revised 96/01/26 -DD
-
- Take your newly created .MAP and .INI files, load MIXMAN with GENERAL.MIX,
- Select the level you wish to replace (Either MultiPlayer Level or a GDI/NOD
- scenario) Replace the .INI file first, then find the corresponding .MAP file,
- replace it, and copy the new GENERAL.MIX file to your c:\c&c directory to
- play!
-
- *Note:
- To TEST a multiplayer level, change the first player reference from
- Multi1 to GoodGuy (for GDI) or BadGuy (for NOD). This will allow you
- to test the scenario before you unleash it to the world.
-
- Another point to mention is that if you put in NPC's (Non Player Chars)
- like Obelisks of light, turrets, etc, make sure you provide a powerplant
- with the same unit! (I.E. Obelisk of light-owner=special) then you MUST
- have a powerplant somewhere on the map (anywhere!) that is also owned by
- special. Also note that if you were to create a vehicle of special ownership,
- and another of goodguy, badguy or neutral, they WILL attack each other unless
- you specify in your .INI file under each section [SPECIAL],[GOODGUY], etc that
- they are ALLIES.
-
- Also note, if you put in anything with ownership of MULTI1,MULTI2,MULTI3,MULTI4
- they will become property of the users in multiplayer games, I.E, 2 players will
- be multi1,multi2, etc.
- From what I can discern, MULTI5 and MULTI6 are for the AI control if selected.
- This still leaves available GOODGUY, BADGUY and NEUTRAL for battles!
